About this event

Join educators, leaders, and innovators from across Connecticut for the ACES AI Conference 2026: Designing Human-Centered Learning in an AI Era. This full-day conference explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping education while keeping human learning, agency, creativity, and connection at the center. Designed for educators, school and district leaders, technology professionals, researchers, innovators, and educational partners, the conference moves beyond simply learning about AI tools to consider how we intentionally design the future of teaching, learning, and educational systems. The day will begin with a unique multi-voice keynote experience, including a virtual appearance by SparkE from Garner Holt Productions and perspectives from Dr. Joshua Hunsberger, Dr. Keri MacLean, Dr. Frank LaBanca and a student from ACES Chase Academy, bringing together experts from the field, district and school leadership, and from the learner perspective to the conversation. Together, these voices will explore AI and emerging technologies through the lenses of innovation, education, leadership, and the future of learning. Throughout the day, participants will choose from breakout sessions across four conference strands: Designing Systems, Designing Learning, Designing Human Agency, and Designing Intelligent Tools. Participants will also have opportunities to explore emerging ideas, tools, and practices in the Innovation Lab, connect with colleagues from across the state, and engage in conversations about the opportunities and challenges AI presents for education. Participants will leave with practical strategies, new perspectives, and connections they can bring back to their classrooms, schools, and districts as they help shape a human-centered future for education in an AI era.
